Team ASTonishing-A had a fabulous week in Chicago, Illinois and Louisville, Kentucky, April 22-29.  Over 800 teams from about 40 countries were in Louisville to compete for the championship title.  For our rookie season, ASTonishing-A did a fantastic job and were gracious ambassadors for our school and for Taiwan.  The team was even on the local news, WAVE Channel 3 in Louisville. Eric Lu, Thomas Yen, Yuan Yuan Chan, Jason Liao, Shawn Chuang, Ruby and Max Shih met students, coaches and engineers from all over the world.  On TV they are shown taking a selfie with a team from Mexico. The VEX competition brings the best and brightest teams from around the world together for 4-non-stop, action-packed days. VEX is partnering with Google to increase the number of girls participating in STEM programs around the world, next year AST hopes to have an all-girl team in VEX or First Lego League competitions.
