Fiji Conservation Trip Summer 2018
AST students in grades 10-12 have the opportunity to be a part of an environmental and conservation expedition to Fiji this summer through Operation Wallacea. This is a chance for students to be in the field and gain hands on science experience by assisting scientists on various environmental research topics. There are also options to earn college science credit and PADI scuba certification through this trip for those interested. The trip is from June 12th to June 25th with the first week spent at a forest camp within the lowland tropical forests and the second week is spent at the Natewa Bay Marine Research Center. More specific information about the Fiji research can be found here. Interested students should fill out the google form to receive more information.
