Hi! My name is Annabelle Chiang and I am teaching Middle School Math and High School Conceptual Physics. I started out my career as a researcher/lab manager at UC Irvine. In that capacity I developed the characters of creativity and resourcefulness to trouble-shoot for the experiments.
After many years of working in the lab, I felt the desire to see a much bigger world than the microorganisms and cellular organelles. In the process of trying out different careers, I even attained the Associate Actuary license from the Society of Actuary. I only realized my calling to be an educator in the last five years after completing several teaching assignments in Taipei American School. Teaching young people brings me much more satisfaction than did all my previous jobs. This is my first year at AST, and I love AST for its wonderful teachers, staffs, students, and the beautiful surrounding.
